Mary Virginia "Jennie" Purcell, 78, of Louisville, passed away February 13, 2013. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bob Purcell; and great grandchildren, James Dalton Purcell and Travis Dean Purcell. Survivors include her children, Johnnie Purcell(Charlotte), Bobbi McLemore(Larry), Virginia Staples, and Patsy Merideth(Calvin); 6 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 11 step great grandchildren; and brother, Garland Merideth Jr. (Arlene). Funeral service will be 12 noon Saturday at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home with interment in Coral Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8pm Friday. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Lung Association.
