Mildred Josephine Brown, 80, of Fairdale, passed away March 16, 2012. She was a member of Outreach Christian Fellowship. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Brown; parents, Rev. Donald and Alta Payton; and brother, Richard Payton. Survivors include her children, William Brown(Nancy), Ronald Brown(Connie), Donald Brown(Judy), Brenda Carter(David), and Beverly Wright(Ted); 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Ruby Hunt and Bonnie Payton. Funeral service will be 12:30pm Tuesday at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home 411 Fairdale Rd. with interment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
