Nina Jean Coomer, 64, died Sunday, June 12, 2016 at her home. She was born April 22, 1952 in Louisville to the late Lloyd Thomas and Beulah Beatrice (Brown) Carr. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Harry Coomer. She was a devoted UK fan and never missed a game on tv.
She is survived by her children, Debra Pennington (Larry Sr.), Lisa Coomer, Margaret Cooper, Steven Coomer (Chrissy Sokol), Carl Coomer (Michelle), and Rashel Miller (Marvin); siblings, Beverly Greenwell, Carolyn Myers, Phillip Brown, and Lloyd Carr, Jr.; 18 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm Wednesday and after 9:00 am Thursday at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home, 411 Fairdale Rd., Fairdale, Kentucky 40118. Her Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Thursday in ¬the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in ¬St. Stephen’s Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky
