Phil Emerson, 71 of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2012 in Florida. He was born July 2, 1940 in Casey County, KY to the late Cecil & Deva (Buis) Emerson, He was retired and a member of the Church of Christ. He enjoyed fishing & hunting.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Linda Sue Emerson, daughter, Ronda Emerson Watt of Louisville; son, Barry Emerson of Lebanon Junction, KY; brother, Gerald Emerson, 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 3 dogs, Bandit, Midnight & Pepper.
Funeral services will be Noon Wednesday at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home 411 Fairdale Rd. with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
