I guess I'm late hearing of Barb's passing, and I'm very saddened at the news We were classmates at GMU Law back in the day and became good friends. She was special and I'm not just saying that because that's what we do at condolence sites. She was truly a special and beautiful human being.

Barbara was a longtime and valued member of the Fairfax Ferns Garden Club. We will miss her greatly.

I met Barb (she was "Barb" to me) many years ago when she joined the Fairfax Ferns Garden Club. She was so kind, generous, so much fun and so very creative with her flower arrangements.  Barb's floral designs were as beautiful as she was. I will miss her so very much.

Barbara and I  worked together at the American Optometric Association, Washington DC,  1972 - 1980 or so prior to her becoming a lawyer.
We were the best of friends and though I lost touch with her around 2000, I have always remembered and missed her wit and charm.
Im so sorry she has passed and will remember her always as a very  special person in my life.  RIP

I have many wonderful memories running around with Barbara and Victoria.  Wonderful restaurants and art shows in the Virginia countryside during summertime celebrating birthdays. Movies, the theater, restaurant week...the list goes on and on.  40 years of memories;  laughter and tears.  She was Babsy to me and I was Beasy to her.  I will miss her very much and give thanks for  the  time she was loaned to me.
