Charles Edward Camper (Eddie), 79, of Fairfax passed away on Monday, February 22, 2016 at Fairfax Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mary; son, Mark and fiancé Kitty; daughter, Cheryl Tayman and son-in-law Billy. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Tanya Camper; seven grandchildren, two step-grandsons, two great-grandsons; two brothers, two sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son Charles Edward Camper II (June 1st, 2013). A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 12:00pm on Monday, February 29, 2016 at Fairfax United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm on Sunday, February 28 at Demaine Fairfax Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude’s Hospital.
