Clifford Tomaszewski, 68, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many, passed away on December 6, 2014. He was born in Chicago, IL to the late Aloysius and Edna Tomaszewski. Clifford graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1968.
He worked and retired from the Department of Energy. In his retirement he enjoyed writing, cooking and traveling. He is survived by his wife, Leigh, two children: Paul Tomaszewski, and Kate (Jason) Maleski; two grandchildren: Joseph and Cecelia.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Demaine Funeral Home, 10565 Main Street, Fairfax, VA. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Saint Mary of Sorrow Historical Church, Ox Road (123) & Fairfax Station Rd, Fairfax Station, VA 22039 with interment to immediately following at St.Mary’s Cemetery.
