Genevieve Mary Adams, Age 88, on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. Loving wife of Albert S. Adams for 56 years; devoted mother of Michele G. Adams (Scott Campbell), Ann F. Adams (Terry Ammons), and John C. L. Adams (Susanne Tulloss). An artist and educator for many years, Genevieve also volunteered in the community throughout her life. She enjoyed teaching others and demonstrated her compassion for those less fortunate through her charitable and volunteer activities. Genevieve enjoyed reading, visiting fine art exhibits, attending the performing arts, and exploring other cultures. A graveside service will be held, Friday, August 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Fairfax City Cemetery. 10567 Main St., Fairfax, VA 22030.
