Wes was born in Fairfax, VA to James Wesley Tate and Wanda Carol Rigden on December 10th 1983. He went to school in Springfield, VA. He married Carol DeFord on January 15th 2022 in Alexandria, VA. He had a rewarding career as an audio visual technician for various local companies for 10+ years. He was a proud father, devoted partner and husband, and was always eager to help friends and neighbors.
Wes is preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Carol Rigden, and his grandmother, Norma Lou Rigden.
Wes is survived by his wife Carol DeFord, his son Alex, his brother James Andrew and sister Samantha Faye, his father James and step-mother Barbara, his ex-wife Cassandra, and a host of friends and extended family.
Visitation will be at 10:30, followed by funeral services at 11:00, Thursday October 27th at Demaine Funeral Home with the Reverend Jane DeFord officiating. Reception will follow. Arrangements are by Demaine Funeral Home, 10565 Main Street, Fairfax, VA 22030.
