Judith Andrea Moore February 24, 1934 – June 13, 2015 Reston, Virginia ‘Judy’ ‘Jude’ Daughter of Harold and Esther Osier; Sister of H. Daniel and Jeffrey; Wife of George; Mother of Daniel and James. Judith Andrea (Osier) Moore was born in Chicago Illinois on February 24, 1934, to the late Harold and Esther (nee Strait) Osier. Judy grew up in Chicago, and attended South Shore High school (class of 1952). She met her future husband George while working at Pure Oil in downtown Chicago. They were married on Dec 17, 1955. While raising 2 sons, Daniel and James, in Naperville Illinois. she worked as an administrative assistant in engineering for Kroehler furniture. She began a career in real estate and property management, which she continued when she moved with George to Reston Virginia in 1981. After George’s death in 2011, Judy lived in Reston until her passing on June 13, 2015. Judy had a lifelong love of arts and knowledge, conversation and humor. She had a passion for life, and compassion for others. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother, sister and daughter, and a good friend to all. She will be remembered, and missed, by everyone who heard her stories and her laughter. Judith is survived by sons Daniel and James; brothers H. Daniel and Jeffrey; cousins, nephews, and nieces. Visitation will be on Thursday June 14 from 5-8 pm at Demaine Funeral home, 10565 Main St., Fairfax, Virginia. Interment will be at Fairfax Memorial Cemetery, Fairfax, Virginia.
