Ms. Forrey was a retired ESL teacher for Fairfax County Public Schools.
She fell in love with teaching English to non-native speakers after spending several years in Seoul, Korea.
She is survived by her sons, Scott and Steve, and her granddaughter, Alexandra Forrey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Colonel William R. Forrey.
A service will be held at Demaine Fairfax Funeral Home on Friday, October 9 at 2:00PM with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Red Cloud Indian School or Capital Caring (Halquist Memorial Inpatient Center).
