Marilyn Rose Allard, 96, of Fairfax, Virginia, passed away on May 10, 2023 in Fairfax.
Marilyn was born in Reading, Pennsylvania to Nicholas C. and Viola Durant Allard on April 15, 1927. She went to school in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. She worked as a nurse for more than 40 years, and served in the Nurse Cadet Corps during World War II.
Marilyn is survived by her brother Nicholas Allard and sister in law Lillian Allard of Suffern, New York; and brother Robert Allard of District Heights, Maryland.
Burial will be at St Andrews Cemetery, expected to be in June. Arrangements are by Demaine Funeral Home in Fairfax.
The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Ron Lubcher for his kindness to Marilyn, especially during her last years.
