Thomas William Pietrucha

Thomas William Pietrucha, age 75, of Burke, Virginia passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021 following the loss of his wife Diane in January. Son of the late Stanley and Josephine Pietrucha, he leaves behind his loving son Brian, beloved daughter-in-law Megan, cherished grandchildren Jaden and Gavin, sister Christine, brother Danny and niece Linda. Tom was born on June 4, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois where he grew up alongside his brother and sister. In the summer of 1961 he met Diane, at the age of 15, who would later become his wife of 52 years. They would then move to Virginia in 1978 where they would raise their son Brian and live out their lives to the fullest until their passing. Tom served in the United States Army prior to earning his college degree. Following college he worked for 25 years at IBM from which he would retire to pursue a career in real estate. In 2005 his son joined him and they would develop a family business spanning 16 years. Through his 26 years as a realtor in Northern Virginia he developed close relationships with many of his clients and coworkers that continue to the present day. Remembered lovingly for his unwavering devotion to family he will be mourned by those whose lives he so deeply touched. His steadfast presence, humor and genuine loving nature will be missed beyond measure. He was husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, hero and now angel. May his beautiful soul forever rest in peace.
