Walter Nicolas Martinez, 21 of Fairfax passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2015. Walter practiced Martial Arts, attained the 2nd degree Black Belt when he was 12 years old. He also practiced the art of the Samurai Sword. Walter was an avid photographer (Humas of GMU, waltermartinezphotography.com). He was a Graphic Design student at George Mason University. Walter loved music and played the guitar.
He is survived by his parents, Akim Martinez-Reboyras, Karin Martinez and sister Claudia Suarez-Del Campo.
A memorial Mass will be held at Saint Leo the Great Catholic Church on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 11:00 am. Interment will be private.
Memorials may be made in his name to St. Leo the Great Catholic Church.
