William Gordon Fink

William Gordon Fink, 81, departed this life October 25, 2018. He was born November 7, 1936 in Omaha Nebraska to Philip Fayette Fink and Margaret Gilmore (Colvin) Fink. After graduating from the University of Colorado with a degree in electrical engineering he also was serving in the Navy ROTC. In May 1958, Gordon Married Ann Letitia Rehm. He started at the NSA in Fort Meade, also taking time to earn his MBA at the University of Pittsburgh. He then became head of intelligence at the DEA and also worked at the CIA. After leaving the government, Gordon worked for ESL and then consulted for the Department of Transportation. Ann and Gordon enjoyed boating, spending time with family and traveling, especially their annual trips to Hawaii for the holidays. Gordon is survived by his daughter Peggy (Bob) Duncan, son Chip Fink, granddaughters Aimee Fink and Myranda Coleman, grandsons Ryan, BJ and Hunter Duncan, sister Lynne (Larry) Luebke, special niece Susie Winkle and nephew David Bensted, and brother in law Chuck (Judith) Rehm. Gordon will be missed by extended family, friends, and former co-workers. Preceding him in death were his parents and wife Ann in 2014. Memorial service and celebration of Gordon’s life will be Friday, November 9, 2018 at 2:00PM at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church in Annapolis.
