Born in Oklahoma City, he was the son of the late Gano and Bernice (Parrish) Griffith.
Donald was employed as a Sales Manager for ABC Disposal for many years until his retirement. He was a graduate of Capital Hill High School and proudly served in the United States Navy. Spending time with his family and friends was very important, especially with his grandchildren whom he adored. Donald was an avid Oklahoma University football fan, loved taking pictures with his drone and had a inquisitive mind. He was a phenomenal, easy-going, simple man, who was always there checking in on the ones he loved. Donald was the best loved, father, step-father, grandfather, and friend, and his gentle smile and soft heart will be deeply missed by many.
In addition to his loving Janis, he is survived by his son, Paul B. Griffith and his wife Deanna of McAlester, OK; his two step-daughters, Kimberly Moses of Dartmouth, and Liz Moses and her partner Troy Tonnessen of Fairhaven; four grandchildren, Owen and Claire Smith of Dartmouth, and Ty Dunson and Sawyer Tonnessen of Fairhaven. He was the step-son of the late Leo Moore.
