

Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Marie (Huber) Kruger, she lived most her life in the city and was a former communicant of St. Mary's Church, Fairhaven.
Mrs. Baulier graduated from Holy Family High School in 1949 and later graduated from St. Anne's School of Nursing in 1952. She was a registered nurse and worked in the operating room at St. Anne's Hospital, Pediatrics Associates, and retired from Aerovox where she was the plant nurse for many years.
Irene loved being a foster mom for Cause for Paws.
She was the mother of five boys, David Baulier of NJ, the late Ronald Baulier, Michael Baulier of NH, Gerald Baulier of NC, Matthew Baulier, Jr. of TX and two girls Judith Baulier and Dianne Waller both of MA; 12 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Her funeral will be Monday, March 23, 2015 at 8 a.m. from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME of MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at FAIRLAWN, 180 Washington St., Fairhaven followed by a funeral mass at 9 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Main St., Fairhaven. Burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Bedford.
