Jeanne L. Williams

Jeanne L. Williams, a beloved resident of Fairhaven, passed away on November 13, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on March 3, 1949, in Acushnet, Jeanne was the cherished daughter of the late Raymond and Lucille (Deshaies) Tremblay.

Jeanne was a graduate of Greater New Bedford Regional, Vocational, Technical High School. She was the co-owner of Elite Transportation alongside her husband, Albert M. Williams, III, with whom she shared 43 wonderful years of marriage. Prior to this, she worked at Nye Lubricants and Knapp Shoe, where she made significant contributions.

Jeanne is survived by her loving family, including her husband Albert; her three daughters, Cheryl Williams Davenport and her husband Ryan, Amy Williams and her husband Brandon Demelo, and Tracy Williams and her significant other Nathan Turple. She also leaves behind her two brothers, Donald Tremblay and Paul Tremblay; three grandchildren, Jewelia Westgate, Jax Demelo, and Nathan Davenport; her niece Crystle Carline and her child Madison Carline; and her nephew Sean Tremblay and his children Avery, Jenna, and Mattie Belle Tremblay. She was predeceased by her grandchild Anthony Westgate, II.

Jeanne had a deep love for her grandchildren and enjoyed hosting parties at her home, where she created cherished memories with family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Waring-Sullivan Home at Fairlawn, 180 Washington St., Fairhaven, on Monday, November 17, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Her Funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 9:00 am from the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, 440 Main St, Fairhaven at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Fairhaven.
