Maria “Tina” C. Prevost, 89, of New Bedford, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the wife of Louis Prevost. Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Liberato and Etelvina Athayde, she was a lifelong resident of the city.
Tina was a fan of the New England Patriots, the Boston Red Sox and enjoyed watching boxing on television. She also enjoyed singing in earlier years.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Richard Marshall and John Marshall and a grandson, Douglas.
Her visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 from 9:30-10:30am followed by a Funeral Service at 11am in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT FAIRLAWN, 180 Washington St., Fairhaven.
