

Paul was born in Springfield, MA to the late Howard R and Justine T. (Pagani) Wylie. A US Navy Veteran, he graduated from New Bedford High School in 1967 and attended classes at BCC before entering the Navy in 1969. Upon returning home, he lived in New Bedford and Acushnet before moving to Fairhaven in 1991.
Paul worked for 45 years as a Sprayer with the Titleist Company in Acushnet, retiring in 2010. A sports enthusiast, he loved the New York Giants and was a dedicated fan of all his nieces’ sports games. He enjoyed travelling, especially to the Casinos in Atlantic City and Saratoga in Lake George. He also enjoyed playing Bingo at the Buttonwood and Brooklawn Senior Centers in New Bedford.
Surviving in addition to his Companion are his son Keith M. Wylie and his wife Karyn of Rochester, two grandsons, Clayton and Carter Wylie, a brother William Wylie and his wife, June of Fairhaven, 3 sisters Joann Melendes, Marie Jellinek and her husband Theodore, and Carolyn Sirrico all of Sandwich. He also leaves several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, including a special niece and caregiver, Heather L. Sbardella of Dartmouth.
His Funeral Service will be held Sunday, January 25, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT FAIRLAWN, 180 Washington Street, Fairhaven. Family will receive relatives and friends prior to his service from 11 am to 2 pm in the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to Southcoast Hospice 200 Mill Rd, Fairhaven, MA 02719 or Acushnet-Wesley United Methodist Church, 67 Main St, Acushnet, MA 02743.
