Bob attained his degree in Accounting from Kent State University and worked most of his career for non-profit organizations.
He had a love of sports, especially baseball and was given the nickname ‘Breezer’ by his high school teammates in Ravenna. After high school he was proud to have pitched at Kent State University. He loved coaching his children’s and grandchildren’s teams, and attending their games. He also loved umpiring baseball, working hard to attain ‘State Umpire’ status. Bob also bowled for many years in several leagues. To relax and wind down he loved fishing and enjoyed sharing the hobby with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Brenda of 41years; his children Kristin (Scott) Harris, Kevin (Ched) Breznai, and Kyle Breznai; grandchildren Natalie, Nolan, Nora, and Nadia; brothers Steve (Nancy) and Jim.
Calling Hours will be Friday, January 17th, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Rose Hill Funeral Home 3653 W Market St Akron, Ohio 44333. Then Calling Hour on Saturday, January 18th, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM with the Funeral Service immediately following at 11:00 AM. Chaplin Bill Wisniewski, officiating. Interment Rose Hill Burial Park.
