Adrienne Denise Smith

Adrienne (Piney) Smith was born July 6, 1957 to the union of John King and Marion J. Fuller-Roger. Both preceded her in death. She was also preceded by daughers, Lashaunda and Victoria Blaylock; uncle, Jewell Fuller and nephew, Andre Quarlis.

Adrienne was a strong advocate of family, especially her children. She stood firmly in her beliefs and could always back them up, no matter the subject.

Adrienne was a compassionate nurse for over 20 years and took great honor in assisting anyone that needed her help.

Adrienne was a graduate of Beck Area Career Center and East St. Louis Senior High, Class of 1976. She also attended S.I.U. Edwardsville & McKendree University.

Adrienne was a member of Love Church, under the leadership of Pastor Montonio “Monty” Weatherall.

She loved serving on the Usher Board until her health no longer allowed. The love of her church family was never forgotten during her illness.

Adrienne is survived by her children, Marion (Robert) Douglas, Vittorio (Tamiya) Blaylock, Jr.; their father, Vittorio Blaylock, Sr., and step-father, Willie Smith; one brother, Rev. Andre Fuller; five sisters, Patrice, Darlene, and Latunya Fuller, Dionne (Kevin) Beverly and Yolanda (Orlando) Mack; six grandchildren, Jewell, Mark, Anthony, Aniya, Alivia and Adriauna.

Adrienne had a great group of cousins, nieces, nephews, church family and friends.

Adrienne received unfailing love and support from her sister, Dionne. Mickey and Dewey will be eternally grateful.
