Alice Marie Smith

Alice was an incredibly loving mother, grandmother, and aunt who will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Beulah (née Davis) Muckey; first husband, Edgar Boyer; second husband, William Smith; daughter, Vicki (née Boyer) Goersch, granddaughter, Shawna Boyer; brothers, Frank and Jack Muckey; and nephew, Alan Muckey.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her son, Keith (Norma) Boyer; grandchildren, Dean (Tammy) Goersch, Tony (Shandra) Goersch, Courtney (Derrick) Schied, and Marc (Amber) Boyer; great-grandchildren, Brittnie Little, Kristen Goersch, Joseph “Joey” Goersch, Isabella Goersch, Kyle Boyer, Abby Boyer, Rayne McDonald, Samantha Sapielak, Evan Sapielak, Nova Boyer, Lyric Boyer, Mikayla (fiancé Kyle) VanVeghel, and River VanVeghel; great-great-grandchildren, Kaiden Little, Athena Kempfer, Ezra McDonald, and Keegan Lee; nieces, Jill Leroux and Carla Crush; nephews, Mike Muckey, Scott Muckey, and Dale Muckey; son-in-law, Ed Goersch; plus numerous great-nieces/nephews.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 8th, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 AM, officiated by Pastor Larry Ridenour. Alice will be laid to rest in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
