Born on September 25, 1958, in Red Bank, NJ, Bonnie was the beloved daughter of the late Ronald F. Ganley, Sr., and Caryl J. (nee Agnew) Yancey.
Bonnie had a deep love for animals, raising calves in her earlier years and carrying that compassion throughout her life. Halloween was always one of her favorite times of year, a season she embraced with joy, alongside her lifelong love for music. More than anything, she treasured her family.
She enjoyed shopping in small boutiques, collecting and wearing beautiful jewelry, and spending time at local wineries. She was a member of the United Church of Christ in New Athens for a time. Her true calling was found in her work as a hospice nurse with Heartland Hospice, where she devoted herself wholeheartedly to caring for patients and families during their most tender moments. Her compassion, dedication, and unwavering heart touched countless lives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her stepfather, Bobby Daugherty; brother, Ronald Ganley, Jr.; grandfather, Earl Agnew; and grandmother, Emma Wessel.
She is survived by her two children: Amy Iverson of Swansea, IL, and James (Stephanie) Liefer of Red Bud, IL; four grandchildren: Colton Liefer, Kadin Liefer, MaKayla Bievenue, and Cole Bievenue; brother, James Daugherty; sister, Linda Daugherty; sister-in-law, Debbie Ganley; 11 nieces and nephews: Melissa Ganley, Brad Ganley, Tina (Philip) Lippert, Elizabeth Ganley, Rebecca (Caleb) Ruyle, Arthur Smith, Alex Smith, Yuko Stuhlsatz, Maya Larimer, Suzie Daugherty, and Emma Daugherty; and a special companion, Ken Kuehn.
