Catherine L. Dyer

Catherine was a jewel to all who knew and loved her. She enjoyed watching soap operas and baking. Her cakes and pies were often deemed “Legendary”. She was married to the love of her life, William Dyer for 54 years until his passing. Catherine was a loving mom, grandma, great grandma, great-great grandma, sister, aunt and friend. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Randle Dyer; her daughters, Janice Dyer and Sharon Kassly; her grandchild, Carrie Dyer; her parents, Clyde and Viola (nee Davis) Morrow and her brother, Jerry Morrow.

Surviving are her loving children; Terry (Sandie) Dyer, of St Jacob, IL, Ray (Cheryl) Dyer, of Troy, IL, Allen (Stacy) Dyer, of Troy, IL and Gayle (Larry) Bumb, of O’Fallon, IL; her grandchildren, Lori (Joe) Roosevans, Amy Kassly, Jason Dyer, Cesare (Halley) Venegoni, Jason (Misty) Lesiewicz, Crystal (Shawn) Miner, Olyvia Dyer, and Coltyn Dyer; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great-great child; her siblings Phyllis Minton and C.W. Morrow, a dear number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 pm to 7 pm, Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois.

Funeral Service: Services will be held immediately following the visitation at 7 pm, Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois. Interment will be held in her hometown of Hickman, Kentucky.
