

Mr. Ogden proudly served his country in the United States Army. He retired after 44 years of service with the Wabash/Norfolk Southern Railroad. He was a member of East Lodge No. 504 A.F. & A.M., VFW Post 8677, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge 664, and the American Legion. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley B. Ogden, nee Adams; his two sons, Charles R. Ogden, Jr. and Brian K. Ogden; and his parents, Alfred L. and Eura L., nee Hammett, Ogden; his siblings, Ross T. Wright, Cleo Wright, Dallas Ogden, Luther Ogden, Sherman Ogden, Evelyn (Ogden) Jones, Dale Ogden, and Betty (Ogden) Goings.
Surviving are his children, Peggy L. Ogden and Mark A. Ogden; his grandchildren, Dawn R. Ogden, Erin J. Edmiston, Ellen J. Edmiston, Scott A. Ogden, and Steven T. Ogden; and his siblings, Lena (Ogden) Ice, Lester Ogden, William Ogden, and Cecil Ogden; and his great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
