Cheryl Sue Stanger

Cheryl Sue Stanger, 80, of Belleville, Ill., born November 10, 1943, in Belleville, Ill., died Sunday, Sep. 22, 2024, at her home, Belleville, Ill. Mrs. Stanger retired in 2022 after 35 years of service in District 118, Belleville Ill. Cheryl was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, and great grandmother.

She loved spending time with family and friends, watching Cardinals Baseball, and loved long drives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Charlotte, nee Kaysing, Seiffertt; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Elmer and Dora, nee Nolte, Stanger; a beloved husband Donald; sister, Carla Seiffertt; and a son-in-law, Leonard Reilmann. She is survived by her three daughters, Kathleen (Jeffrey) Kaiser of Belleville, Ill., Deborah Reilmann of Peyton, CO., and Susan (Keith) Hamilton of Belleville, Ill.; her grandchildren, Kamaren (Alex Luka) Kaiser and Leighten (Nick Nagel) Kaiser, Joshua (Stacey) Oaks, Zachary Reilmann and Lyndsey (Jordan), nee Hamilton, Wooten; Connor (Alexis) Hamilton; Kennadie Hamilton., and great grandchildren, Jessa, Madelyn, Alex, Myla, CJ and Landan; and her many cousins.; And her special canine companion Bella.

Peacefully sleeping,

resting at last,

The world's weary troubles

and trials are past,

In silence she suffered,

in patience she bore,

Till God called her home

to suffer no more.

Memorial Gathering will be Saturday, October 5th, 2024 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later time.

Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
