Dana will be greatly missed by her family. As a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother, Dana lived a life characterized by love, generosity, and quiet strength. She spent many years taking care of her family while also pursuing a career in banking. Later, when her grown children started families, she gracefully stepped away from her career to devote herself to the care of her grandchildren, becoming a constant and cherished presence in their lives.
Dana found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She was an avid reader who loved a good cup of tea. Her love for flowers and gardening brought color and beauty to the world and she had a special talent for making things grow, especially her roses. In the kitchen, she excelled at creating comfort food, particularly her famous chop suey, which brought the family together time and again.
A visitation for Dana will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Lake View Funeral Home, located at 5000 North Illinois Street, Fairview Heights, IL.
A funeral service will take place on the same day from 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will follow at Lake View Funeral Memorial Gardens, 5000 N Illinois St, Fairview Heights, IL.
