Floyd Dale Bright

Floyd Dale Bright, 70, of Fairview Heights, Ill., born August 15, 1940 in Wheeler, TX., died on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Gateway Regional Medical Center, Granite City, Ill., after battling a short illness.

Dale retired from American Steel Foundries after 35 years of dedicated service and was a proud member of IBEW Local 309, Collinsville, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie & Grace, nee Shackelford, Bright; and one daughter, Janet Lynn Scheller; three brothers, Charles Nelson Bright, Roy William Bright and Carl DeWayne Bright.

Surviving are his loving wife of 42 Years, Lois Faye Bright, nee Jackson of Fairview Heights, Ill., who he married on April 25, 1969; a son Ronald Alan (Cindy) Bright of Fairview Heights, Ill., two daughters, Belinda Kay (Billy) McDonald of Spur, Tx., and Tina Hammer of Lexington, SC., 11 Grandchildren and 19 Great-Grandchildren, a brother, Bobby Joe (Patsy) Bright of Pampa, Tx., a sister, Patricia Ann (Morgan) DeMaroney of Rio Rancho, NM., and two sister-in-laws, Jane Bright of Miami, Tx., and Kathy Bright of Amarillo, Tx., and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. -7:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Ill.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 24, 2011 at Lake View Funeral Home with Rev. Charles West officiating. Interment will be held in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
