Mrs. Adams was a member of Son Life Church in Collinsville and was both a good Christian and strong willed woman.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Richard E. Adams; her parents, Glenn Lawrence and Lela Myrtle, née Powell, Lankford; three brothers and six sisters.
Surviving are her daughter Mechell L. (Kelly) Manring of Caseyville, IL; two grandchildren Arminda Ruth Manring, Aaron Richard (Maria Bolotner) Manring; a special grandchild Taylor Renea "Bug" Green; two sisters; and many other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to Unity Hospice.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, September 6, 2010 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL with the Rev. Dennis Amsden officiating. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
