

Jeanne Marie Buesking, 93, of Belleville, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021. She was born on August 31, 1928 in East St. Louis to Oscar and Jeanette Kempf. Jeanne was a devoted wife and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family. She was a proud graduate of St. Teresa Academy in East St. Louis, Illinois and a long-time active member of Immaculate Conception Church in Centerville, IL. In her golden years, Jeanne lived a very active lifestyle. A lover of music, Jeanne was a member of Sweet Adelines and Harmony Express for many years, where she sang with her great friends in a quartet. An avid dancer as a young girl, Jeanne joined a senior tap-dancing group in her later years. Her caring nature and loving smile will be greatly missed by the many who loved her.
Survivors include her children, Richard (Susan) Buesking, Donald (Anna) Buesking, David (Jacqueline) Buesking and Kathleen (Rose) Gossmeyer; daughter-in-law, Carol Schulte; grandchildren, Alyssa Schulte, Heather (Jason) Clark, Holly Rosewind, Richie (Crystal) Buesking, Sarah Hamrick, David Moehle, James Moehle, Noah Berry and Nicholas Gossmeyer; great-grandchildren, Sophia and Emelia Hamrick and Mila and Krishna Krawczyk. Predeceased by her parents, husband, Eugene A. Buesking; son, John Buesking; grandson, Jason Hamrick; brother and sister-in-law, Gordon and Betty Kempf.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Teresa Catholic Church, 1201 Lebanon Ave., Belleville, IL 62221 with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
