Jerry Walker Grant, age 61, of Collinsville, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Caseyville Nursing Home. Jerry was born October 13, 1960 in Belleville, Illinois. Jerry was a balloon man and was known for riding his bike around town.
Survivors include his brother, John (Marla) Grant; sisters, Susan (Gary) Dedmon, Cathy Rue, Diana (Stuart) Disbury and Mary (Chris) Burgess; numerous nieces and nephews; girlfriend of 8 years, Sheila Kraft and other friends and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Grant and Agnes (Walker) Joye and grandparents, James and Agnes Walker.
A special thanks to Hospice of Southern Illinois and the Caseyville Nursing Home staff for their care and compassion shown to Jerry and his family in recent weeks.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Lake View Memorial Gardens, 5000 N. Illinois St., Fairview Heights, IL 62208.
