

Jimmie possessed a vivid character and had a very social personality. Jimmie worked as a truck driver for various companies such as; Stag, Conway, and Hunter for over 30 years until his retirement. He proudly served his country for four years in the United States Navy. While serving he picked up a creative niche for playing the guitar, which he has been playing since he was 18. At one point he was one of the top lead guitar players in the Southern Illinois area. He was an avid outdoorsmen, and enjoyed fishing and hunting on his acres. He also enjoyed barbecuing and spending time with his family and friends. Jimmie will always be a loving dad, brother, uncle, and friend. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife; Marian Swanson; and both parents, Earl and Henrietta Moore, nee Barton.
Surviving him are his son; Dennis (Enicela “Beng”) Ansnes; his grandchildren, Babylyn (Andre) Williams, Vanessa (Jacob) Mueller, and Venus Paro; his great grandchildren; Chalae, Santanna, Layla, Kaden, Armi, Amahrie, Ayres, and one bundle of joy on the way; his siblings, Charles (Imogene) Moore and Freda Earlene Schmid, and a number of dear nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 pm to 8 pm Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
Funeral: Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois. Interment will take place privately at Lake View Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
