John William Stahl

John William Stahl, 73, of Shiloh, Illinois, passed away on Monday, December 30th, 2024, in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born February 6th, 1951, in Braddock, Pennsylvania to William & Lois, nee Jones, Stahl.

He is preceded in death by his mother, father, sister, Debbie Stahl and niece, Martha Stahl.

John is survived by his wife of 53 years, Elsie Marie (Reed) Stahl of Belleville, Illinois, sons, Jeremy (Amy) Stahl of Collinsville, Illinois and Jason (Sabrina) Stahl of Mascoutah, Illinois, grandchildren, Tyler (Maurah), Carter, Spencer, Emma, Hannah & Eli and great-grandchildren, Bentley & Amirah.

John served his country valiantly in the United States Air Force. John last worked as a Database Analyst with Wells Fargo Advisors. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, attending their sporting and school events, playing solitaire and dining out with Marie.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, January 9th, 2025, at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois.

Funeral will be at 10:00 am on Friday, January 10th, 2025, at Christ Church, 339 Frank Scott Parkway East, Fairview Heights, Illinois. There will be an additional visitation one hour prior to service.

Interment will take place in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
