Juanita Crossen

Juanita was born November 18, 1931 in East St. Louis, IL to Walter and Mabel (Bryan) Wolf. She married Earl Crossen and he preceded her in death on June 11, 1998.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, David Crossen; infant son, Gary Crossen; brothers, Sonny Wolf and Glen Wolf; son-in-law, Barry Layer and sister-in-laws, Kathy and Rosemary Wolf.

Juanita is survived by her children, Clifford (Sharon) Crossen of Ariton, AL, Curtis (Susan) Crossen of Ariton, AL, Daniel (Sharon) Crossen of Caseyville, IL, Clinton (Rhonda) Crossen of Lawrenceville, IL, Brenda Layer of Caseyville, IL, Glena Crossen of O’Fallon, IL and Rita (Mark) Tweedy of Okawville, IL; sixteen grandchildren and many beloved great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and her brothers, Wayne (Roberta) Wolf of Lenzburg, IL and Harry Wolf of Highland, IL.

Juanita was a devoted member of the United Pentecostal Church in Granite City, IL for many years and more recently at Christ the King in O’Fallon, IL. Her faith was always at the forefront of her life, guiding her in life throughout her 91 wonderful years. Her children and family brought her years of joy and were truly the light of her life. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Although she is gone, her family finds true comfort in knowing she is now with her Lord and Savior forever.

Memorial donations may be made to a memorial fund for Juanita Crossen.

A funeral service for Juanita will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL. Pastor Jason Donaldson will officiate.

A visitation will be held two hours prior to the service, from 10:00 A.M.- 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Final interment will be held at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
