Kim was a past parishioner at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Shiloh. She enjoyed music, movies, and was an animal lover. She was a loving mother, sister, and friend, who will truly be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alan and Theresa, nee Schomaker, Benson; and a brother, Kevin Benson.
Surviving are her daughter, Venna Benson, of Shiloh, Illinois; her sister, Kristi (Michael) Pope, of Woodridge, Illinois; a nephew, Alan O’Brien; a niece, Shelby O’Brien; and many other relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 25, 2014, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Shiloh, Illinois with Msgr. James E. Margason officiating .
