Mr Shevlin was a United States Army Veteran and retired after 50 dedicated years of service from the Laborers Local 100, East St. Louis, Illinois
He was preceded in death by his parents, William C. & Lorene, nee Pelate, Shevlin
Surviving are his loving wife of 49 years, Mary, nee Dismuke, Shevlin; his three sons, Donald (Debra Cauley-Shevlin) Shevlin; Larry E. (Linda) Shevlin and Terry (Gina) Shevlin and 7 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren and one sister, Patsy Hill.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
