Lisa attended O'Fallon Township schools and later went on to obtain her Associates Degree from Hickory College. Lisa then began her career in apparel, working for Edison Brothers as a supervisor in accounts payable.
Lisa married Kevin Stoszkus on October 8, 1988. Together they raised a wonderful daughter. Lisa was a proud member of sports and had a passion for softball. Lisa will always be remembered for her love and compassion for animals and her selfless acts of kindness for others.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Higgins, Father, Joe Higgins, her stepmother, Sue Higgins and her brother, Scott Higgins.
Lisa leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Kevin and her daughter Kelsie (Brianna) Stoszkus.
A visitation for Lisa will be held Friday, January 17, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Lake View Funeral Home, 5000 North Illinois Street, Fairview Heights, IL 62208, followed by a memorial service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
