As I am sure you know, Lloyd was a great man and will be missed by many.  I really enjoyed getting to know him during the golf tournaments that we played together.  I will greatly miss the letters that he used to write to invite me to the golf tournaments he wanted to play in the summers and the follow up phone calls to make sure I was in.  He was very competitive, a good golfer and good golf partner.  I apologize that I cannot attend the visitation or the funeral as I am out of town for business.  You and your family are in my prayers.

My Great Uncle Lloyd was one of the coolest men I have ever known. He will be missed greatly. All of my love to Aunt Jean, Diane, Kirk, and the rest of the family. You are all in my thoughts...always.

... Aunt Jean and Uncle Lloyd , two names that always bring back wonderful memories . Uncle Lloyd (by marriage) was a man's man and was always nice to me , and we solved all the world problems many times out in his garage . I have not seen him in many years , but his image is burned into my mind as one of the best men ever . The entire Family is in my Prayers .

Uncle Lloyd, you were a special man....I never visited without you making me feel at home and making me laugh....I love you and you will be missed.
