Luther L. Sullivan

Luther was born March 16, 1948 in Poplar Bluff, MO to Luther and Alma Sullivan. They preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy Sullivan in 2009; as well as his son, Michael Sullivan; and his numerous brothers and sisters.

Luther is survived by his wife, Helen Sullivan of Lebanon, IL; children, Joseph (Erin) Sullivan of North Port, IL, Maya Sullivan of Troy, MO, Robert Sullivan of Mascoutah, IL, and Bryan (Stephanie) Sullivan of Spring Hill, FL; twelve grandchildren; one great-grandson; and brother, Robert (Judy) Sullivan.

Luther was a proud Union Laborer throughout his life, which placed him at many jobs, and for the greater part of his life, he was a devoted employee of Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, IL. He was of the Methodist faith. He and his first wife, Nancy, selflessly fostered more than 37 children over the years. He loved fishing, which was a shared pastime alongside his son, Brain. He loved his family dearly and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

VISITATION: A visitation for Luther will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 4:00 P.M.- 6:00 P.M.

FUNERAL: A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 10:00 A.M.

Final interment will be held following the funeral, at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL
