She worked as a sales clerk for Wolf's Department Store in St. Louis, MO. and as a retail clerk at Ballweg's Drugstore and Glik's in Edwardsville. IL.
She enjoyed the time she spent with relatives and dear friends on many adventures throughout her years. She devoted her life to God and family. Spending her time sharing her beliefs of God's love was foremost in her life. Alongside her husband, she served as Sunday School Superintendent (Secretary) at United Pentecostal Church of Troy, IL for twenty years. They have dedicated their lives to His work. She was a prayer warrior and her phone rang at all hours with requests for her to get on the hotline to heaven.
Among her many blessings she was thankful for her wonderful husband with whom she shared 73 beautiful years. She believed she was doubled blessed with her two children, three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. They gave her tremendous love, pride, and joy.
If you knew Mabel you received a card from her. She never missed an occasion to send wishes (with personal inscriptions) for a birthday, give congratulations, seasons greetings, lift a weary spirit, or remind you of God's love. She was faithful to the end.
