Penny was born on February 21, 1924 to Arthur & Eva Shedelbower in Indianapolis, IN. On August 23, 1947, Penny married Dale Webster at St. Joseph Catholic Church in East Saint Louis, IL. Mrs. Webster had worked as a clerk for Illinois Central Railroad and Rose Lake School in Fairmont City, IL. She was a member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church in O’Fallon, IL where she participated in numerous organizations, including Yesterday’s Kids. She will be remembered mostly for her love of crafts and passion for cooking.
Preceding Penny in death are her parents, husband, brother & sister-in-law Donald & Virginia “Jenny” Shedelbower, sister, Dolores Crane, brother-in-law & sister-in-law Virginia & Joe Phillips.
Surviving family members include three sons: Milton Webster from O’Fallon, IL, Larry (Teri) Webster from Mascoutah, IL and Alan Webster from Dupo, IL; four grandchildren: Kari (Ryan) Kinzel from Mascoutah, IL, Lori (Ryan) Hinrichs from Mascoutah, IL, Mark (Nicole) Webster from Belleville, IL and Mike (Jodie) Webster from San Francisco, CA; six great-grandchildren: Travis Kinzel, Ethan Kinzel, Kaelyn Kinzel, Zachary Hinrichs, and David Hinrichs from Mascoutah, IL and Matilda Webster from San Francisco, CA; two sisters: Joan Hails from Alabama & Louise Gore from Sandoval, IL
