Mary Ann was born April 11, 1953 in Belleville, IL to Elmer and Doris (Anna) Appel. They preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her two brothers and her beloved dog, Patches.
Mary Ann is survived by her loving family, including her sisters, Charlene (Armin) Mehrtens of Millstadt, IL and Mona Lisa Marie Kehrer of Fairview Heights, IL; and many nieces and nephews.
Mary Ann loved to shop, especially for shoes and jewelry. She looked forward to holiday gatherings and the time she was able to spend with her family. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family has entrusted Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, IL with cremation rites. Final interment will be held at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Belleville, IL.
Memorial donations may be given in Mary Ann’s name to the American Cancer Society.
