Mary Ann Moss

Mary Ann Moss, 84, of Fairview Heights, Ill., born on March 18, 1931, in Marion, Ill., died Thursday, November 26, 2015, at her residence with her loving family by her side. Mary was a devoted wife and mother who found joy in being with her family. She enjoyed hobbies such as genealogy, building puzzles and playing bingo. She was involved in aiding children in need through various programs, but her greatest accomplishment was raising five children in a home filled with love, security, and encouragement. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her family.

Mrs. Moss was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ella, nee Cawthon, Atkisson; a daughter, Linda Boggan; and three brothers.

Surviving is her husband of 65 years, Charles C. Moss; her sons, Mark (June) Moss and Charlie (Jane) Moss; two daughters, Sherry Hardin, and Cathie (Michael) Krypciak; a sister, Mildred Romans; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
