Maryann Carril

Maryann was born March 6, 1951 in St. Louis, MO to Louie and Elsie (Berry) Wallace. She married Larry J. Carril on May 26, 1979 in Las Vegas, NV. He survives and resides in Marine, IL.

Also surviving are their 3 sons, Kenny (Tracey Thompson) Carril of Kapolei, HI, Justin (Jamie) Carril and their two sons, Vincent and Henry of Marine, IL, and Brad (Chelsey) Carril, and their two sons, Grant and Brooks, of Marine, IL; siblings, Kim (David) Steif of Woburn, IL and Terri Wallace of Nashville, TN; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, John Wallace.

Maryann and her dearest friend, Carla Lake, were both charter members of the Sutter Sisters, where together, they made memories to last a lifetime. She was also a member of the Al Sihah Temple No 29, Daughters of the Nile.

Above all else, Maryann loved her family dearly, especially her four grandsons. They were the light of her life. They will undoubtedly be reminded how much their Abuela loved and adored them. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A visitation for Maryann will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 4:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M. at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL.

A funeral service will be held Friday, December 29, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. with a visitation an hour prior to services at Marine United Church of Christ, 111 N Center St, Marine, IL 62061.

Final interment will be held at Marine Cemetery in Marine, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
