

Nancy L. Voellinger, 64, of Collinsville, Illinois, formerly of Fairview Heights, Illinois, born October 29, 1952 in East St. Louis, Illinois, passed away, Saturday, October 21, 2017 in Highland, Illinois.
Nancy was past parishioner at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fairview Heights, Illinois. She dedicated her career and life to being a caregiver and helping those who needed it. She worked as a Respiratory Therapist at Memorial Hospital for over 20 years and in retirement, she volunteered with Hospice of Southern Illinois. She also served as an ombudsman for advocacy for local skilled nursing homes. She was an animal lover, especially her dogs. She was a loving mother, who will truly be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert G. and Martha J., nee Schwab, Voellinger.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her two sons, Robert L. Voellinger, of Glen Carbon, Illinois and Christopher M. (Barbie Nix) Voellinger, of Highland, Illinois; and her close friend, Liz Pirtle, of Fairview Heights, Illinois.

Visitation: Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the church with the Very Reverend James Nall, JCL officiating. Inurnment will be held privately.
