Norma Jean Krause

Norma Jean Krause, 91, of Fairview Heights, passed away Monday, August 21, 2023. She was born July 12, 1932 in East St. Louis to Frank and Agnes Radcliff. She married John Richard Krause, Jr. on June 30, 1956 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in East St. Louis, IL. Norma embraced her role as a devoted homemaker. She raised five children, creating a warm and loving home with endless memories. Norma was a true bookworm and a passionate, award-winning bowler. Norma also was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. For 40 years, rain or shine, Norma enjoyed walking, especially with her dear friends around longacres. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors left to cherish her memory include her children, Carol (Dennis) Ferrero of Collinsville, IL, Gerald “Jerry” (Linda) Krause of Okawville, IL, Janice (Dennis) Perjak of Maryville, IL, Gail (Jimmy) Korves of Waterloo, IL and Michael Krause of Belleville, IL; 14 grandchildren, Denny (Kerri) Ferrero, Kelly (Jeff) Papenberg, Jason Krause, Ryan Krause, Aaron Krause, Niles Perjak, Tess (Aaron) Campbell, Grey Perjak, Sarae Perjak, Dayne Perjak, Daniel Perjak, Army SGT Randi (Geofrey) Benitez, Josie (Tyler) Harbaugh, Navy P2C Samuel (Jennifer) Korves; 13 great-grandchildren and her brother-in-law, Leroy Krause.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, and loving husband, John Richard Krause, Jr.

A memorial service for Norma will be held on Friday, September 1, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL, with visitation from 10:00 am until time of service. Inurnment to follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
