

Mr. Plummer was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in the Korean War. Palmer served the Fairview Heights Fire Department for over 40 years, first as a fire fighter and after his retirement as a trustee. He enjoyed wood working, cooking, loved to grow flowers, and fixing up his yard and his home. He was a quiet man, a good father and a good husband who above all loved spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Palmer S. and Mary, nee Pusateri, Plummer Sr., a brother, Richard Plummer, and a sister, Rosemary Lovatto.
Surviving are his beloved wife of over 60 years, Judith Plummer, nee Racner, his daughters, Kathleen Blagg of Troy, Illinois, Cherri Plummer of Fairview Heights, Illinois, and Pamela Plummer of Fairview Heights, Illinois, a grandchild, Jason Blagg of Fairview Heights, Illinois, three great grandchildren; Chandler Ebers, and Willow and August Blagg, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
