Phyllis Ann Daniels

Phyllis was a jewel to all who knew and loved her. She was a woman of faith, being a lifetime member of the Catholic Church and a long-time member of St. Nicholas Community Parish in O’Fallon, Illinois. She was married to the love her on April 7, 1951, David Daniels. The beautiful union brought the two of them seven children and a partnership to their life long business of 40 years, the Dandy Inn Irish Pub & Restaurant, of Fairview Heights, Illinois. On April Fool’s Day 1977, Dave and Phyllis Daniels officially opened the Dandy Inn. David later passed in 1998. Phyllis was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandma. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, David M. Daniels; her son, Dennis Daniels; both parents; David and Hattie Graff and her siblings Donald “Punch”, Grace and Mary Jane.

Surviving to cherish memories are her loving children; Ross (Bonnie) Daniels, Patrick (Kay) Daniels, David (Barb) Daniels, Mark Daniels, Ann (John) Farnen and Mary Reid; her grandchildren, Jessica, Joseph, Richard, Jennifer (Tom), Michelle, David (Rhonda), Megan, Richard (Casey), Danielle, Shelly, Destin and Tom; great grandchildren, Aiden, Liam and Charlett; her siblings, Richard, Jean, Robert, and Patsy and a dear number of relatives and friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 5:30 pm to 8 pm, Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois. An additional visitation will be held from 10 am to 11 am, Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois.

Funeral Service: All services will be held, Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 11 am immediately following visitation at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois, Father William Hitpas officiating services. Interment will take place in Lake View Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
