Raymond Hartgrove

Raymond was born December 26, 1950 to Delbert and Nina Campbell on Clark Air Base in the Philippines.

He was preceded in death by his father and his mother and step-father, George A. and Nina (Bautista) Hartgrove.

Raymond married Myra J. (Arras) Henson. on February 14, 1977 in Belleville, IL and together they shared many wonderful years together. She survives him and resides in East Carondelet, IL.

Also surviving is his daughter, Kim Shaw of East Carondelet, IL; her sons, Benjamin Jacob Shaw (15) and Ethan Alexander Shaw (13), both of Granite City, IL; step-daughter, Valerie Henson of Cahokia Heights IL; her daughter, Brianna Westbrooks of Millstadt, IL; and his siblings, Lita Singletary of Hamlet, NC, Elizabeth Dancer (husband, Doug) of Navarre Beach, FL and Allen Hartgrove of Fayetteville, NC.

Raymond worked for 30 years as an Information Technology Analyst and for the last 15 years he was a devoted employee with US Bank in downtown St. Louis, MO.

He loved trying different exotic foods, especially different types of rice and foods from the Philippines. He enjoyed watching TV, including his favorite shows: The Three Stooges, NCIS, The Price is Right and anything science-fiction. He loved his family dearly and will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

VISITATION: A visitation for Raymond will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 4:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M. at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL.

FUNERAL: A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following services under the direction of Lake View Funeral Home.
